Exercising in the Future

Hi,

Grief - can you imagine paintball where you could leap thirty feet up into a tree, firing all the way! That would be bloody awesome!

Cheers, Greg.

I remember the Eureka episode where the weight lifting bar could be made heavier without adding actual weights. I quite liked the idea :)

Lost track - is this on a space ship? If yes, you don't want blobs of paint getting into the air filtration system.

I see your point for sure. Having been shot in the mouth with a paintball before, I can accurately imagine how unpleasant that would be.

Make up a 5 x 5 routine of the future ;) nothing brings out the inner spartan like it.

And fingers crossed this is the starting point of my two fave forums, bodybuilding.com and sff chrons merging and saving me browsing time... :)

Lol, that would be an incredibly interesting crossover.

That's what I was thinking! It would be fairly plausible too, because this is a Military ship in my book. Low gravity paintball would be great practice for combat on low gravity planets.

I did too, I really just enjoyed the show Eureka all around.

And providing you wear wrap around laser safety goggles, your retinas won't be etched.

Or a helmet with a facemask. The helmet is probably a good idea anyway, if you're going to be bouncing around in low or zero-g.

In any case, AFAIK the lasers used in lasertag aren't any more powerful than a laser pointer; a quick flash from something like that is unlikely to do any damage.
