Slang term for undead

Hi,

I looked at the defining characteristics of the group - which is essentially that they just won't die - and thought well - I know someone like that. So I vote for "The Rolling Bones."

And before everyone screams at me - it could be fun. Just think - every time the Rolling Bones attack someone they're trying to "Paint it Black". If the attack fails "They got no Satisfaction." The war cry when the hero's about to blow one away could be "Get Offa My Cloud."

Cheers, Greg.

You could use 'decomps' or 'deceased' as the official word, then shorten it to 'decs' for slang. It, kinda, sounds like a similar derogatory word; plus it has a futuristic feel to it.

Lots of good suggestions up there.

If they're all controlled/ruled by the Lich... I offer:

Lich-bitches :)

Hahaha that could work, but the only issue is no one has seen the lich yet. Only i, as the author, know that the lich is in control. So at the moment, all they see are the lower ranking undead: zombies, draugr, possibly skeletons and maybe ghouls.

But yes, there are lots of ideas choose from now, and again i thank the chrons community for their help in this matter.

How about using cockney rhyming slang.

Father Ted = undead

'Watch out, there's a Father Ted over there'

The name would work best if in your book the Christian churches of the world are working as one to defeat the Lich, as that would be an ecumenical matter.
