Momentarily donning the guise of a rodent rather than a lagomorph, Mouse has asked me to pass on thanks for the votes and mentions in the 300 just gone -- she isn't able to log in at the moment.

Springs, is that a casual way of telling me that I really ought to be writing my Sekrit Santa story and all the other things I really ought to be writing, and not volunteering to set up new things that don't further my career?

I'm on for it. But, one thing - why can't I enter? I can't vote, sure, but any reason I can't put a story in? No one else would know... (The baby in me hates to be left out.)

I'll come up with a theme and stick a workshop thread up.

I'm in for Ratsy's 100 word challenge. Also, I think that if Springs is donating her time to set up the challenge, she should be allowed to enter, but not vote.

Springs should be able to write as many stories as she wants...so in that time period, we may have 1757 entries. We will then ask...why do we only have 37 votes though???

wouldn't you get a vote for each entry? then it would be springs having 1757 votes.. and only thirty-seven participants that might queer up the records charts maths... like dividing with zero or something.

I feel there is a certain degree of curmudgeonry missing, therefore:

(Loosely translated as; I'm behind in my SS4 assignment, choreography for my afrobeat aerobics class at the gym is killing my feet, and I'm OCD and can't let a writing opportunity pass me by.)

I think its a great idea. I'm too new to be able to recognise many people by their writing styles yet, but for those of you who've been on here longer than a couple of weeks it would be a fun guessing game.
