My Millennium Falcon collection

I did buy one of the Bandai PG Falcon's but i don't have anywhere near enough talent to build one and do it any justice.

Are you just going to leave it in the box? If you post it to me I'll have a crack at it! I promise I'll post it back when I'm done...

I’ve had a good start to the year so far.

My EFX Falcon finally arrived.first announced in 2010 then up for preorder in 2016,it’s been quite a wait. not a decent photo, but here it is next to my Code 3 Falcon.

I also picked up a set of blueprint coasters. Think Geek didn’t ship to the UK, so I had to go through in shipping.

I finally pulled the trigger and bought one of the Bandai Crazycase card holders. This is a really nice,if a bit random item. I love it. Can I post more than one photo?

Thanks, CTG. I don't think that I will be collecting the new Millennium Falcon, but I will still pick up one or two from brands that I like, such as Lego and Bandai. I hope that Solo is as good as Rogue One.

I recently bought the Royal Selangor Pewter Millennium Falcon which I really rated.

It has landing gear, which retracts into the body for flight mode when displayed on the stand provided. Very clever, I thought.

I have thought hard about whether or not to include this version of the Falcon in my collection. It does look pretty cool. Ultimately, I’m going to stick to the falcon as she’s seen in the Original Trilogy.

I will make some exceptions for certain brands though. Specifically Lego.

I took delivery of this print by Raymond Swanland called "Gambler's Rush". This is number 58 of 150 and I have to say that I think that it is stunning. There's a real sense of speed and danger as the Falcon hurtles through the asteroid field. :)

Richard Willkinson released a series of prints based in various Star Wars characters as insects. Malluvium Volans was his take on the Millennium Falcon and I am pleased that print 2 or 100 arrived this morning.

The print is top quality and the image razor sharp.

There are 11 prints so far and I have to say that while I don't like creepy crawlies, I concede that this is an extraordinary series that looks at Star Wars in an interesting and unique way.

I received this painting by Chris Cargill. I have some of his paintings already, but this is the first of his that I have seen from the front (most are from the rear for some reason.)

most are from the rear for some reason.

He could have added engine glow and some lights and everyone would have been happy. At the moment, it looks as if the MF is rigged for silent running. Maybe they are on a dangerous run or something. I really need to see Solo to find out if they do that trick in there.

A very good point, ctg.

I rather foolishly went on the internet whilst drunk and ended up buying two Millennium Falcon related watches.

The first was this Invicta watch, which i'm rather embarrassed to say is my favourite of the two, but only because of how well it fits in to my collection.

It's a chunky beast, but the Millennium Falcon in the dial is quite well done.

The second was this "Ranger" watch by Nixon. This one has pretty discrete styling and is definitely more subtle of the two designs. This one I would wear.

I Particularly like the gun well dial.

Thanks JoanDrake. I like it too, but I can’t help thinking that these paintings are done using a photo as a template. Perhaps even printing it onto the canvas and then painting over it. Almost painting by numbers.

My Variant version of Mark Englert's wonderful "She's Got It Where It Counts" arrived at work. As you can expect, it is a stunning piece. Very rich in detail.

The gallery should send my regular versions soon.

I received the updated Haynes Manual for the Millennium Falcon. First impressions are very, very good It has a lot of new images and artwork from the Sequel Trilogy and Solo: A Star Wars Story.
