Discussion Thread - 100 Word Anonymous Writing Challenge Feb 2015

I came down to three on my shortlist, Precipitate, Cloud Psychiatry, and Done By The Book. Any of them could have received my vote, but since we have to cast only one, I choose Done By The Book.
Hopefully I will find time to try to guess authorship sometime this week, it's so hard to try to match up one story to the writer, let alone all the entries

"Invasion" -- This horror story explores the disturbing boundary between reality and imagination.

"Done by the Book" -- With wit and intelligence the author creates a clever new twist on the "weird little shop" theme.

As usual, I am trotting along at the back trying hard to keep up and have just woken up to the fact that February is almost gone and voting ends for this tomorrow. That precludes the weekend which, to paraphrase B5, is generally my last best hope for catching up.
I really wanted to have a proper go at guessing this time around, but the clock has conspired against me and it would just be a random list which probably misses the point a bit so...out of the usual crop of great stories, my Shortlist/Votey bit:
