Hope, that sounds amazing. And @garycompton, those are fab. Should we pop the link to the facebook album up?

From memory we've had: N.Ireland; Northumberland, England; London; a P and O cruise ship; Corfu; St Mark's Square; Venice canal;

In fact, here we go. The album! Thanks to everyone for being great sports!

Portugal, San Francisco, Northumberland, Australia, Canada, Wales, Montenegro, need one on Mars.

Amazing where good promotion can come from. That a paper would write a story on a competition that started as just a bit of fun. Awesome. So supportive!

They've been amazing - the reporter is very proactive, and I think they're running something on Inish when I send some info in. The thing is, local newspapers have an internet presence. No longer does the story only reach the hometown - links like this one go everywhere.

(The very cute baby is my new nephew who I only met this week for the first time, and he is lovely, although someone else took the pic and sent it to me. :))

I'm just quickly reviving this thread. There are so many photos on the album now, it's crazy (and @ratsy has started an Inish one which I will link to as soon as I work out how to generate a link to a facebook album, or ask @Gary Compton how he did it.)

Amongst the Chronners who have contributed, there is @Rosemary, @Robert Mackay, @Chris Guillory, @Parson, @Juliana, @Boneman (all round France with fizzy wine) and @StormFeather who's sent the latest from Cannes, that I'm just about to add. (Apologies to anyone not listed.)

Embarrassingly, I have none from Ireland (though a couple from the North) - I need help @alchemist!

Anyway, I thought it might be fun for those not on facebook to have a look at . None of this was my doing, just my amazing family and friends, and Chronner friends. Lucky me. :)

Awch. Not only am I late to the world tour, I've got Inish instead of Abendau.

Pictures soon anyway :p
Ach, my response got stuck in drafts...

Thank you! I wondered who my first American purchaser of the paperback was! (Plenty of kindles sold, but no hard copy except in the UK).

The odd IC picture has made its way into the album. I also have a canal boat one to upload, now I'm reminded (it came in when I was on hols!)

 I'm FIRST!!!!

*stands at impromptu podium* I'd like to thank my bathtub for encouraging me to always buy paperback, also my bank account for having money in it. *holds First award up* This means so much to me, you can't even know. Thank you. Thank you.

*thread no longer resemblance Academy Awards, and Hope goes back to her normal self*

Tomorrow, I'm going to get pictures tomorrow. Also I might get more while on the bus as I've decided to get a re-read in.
I'll upload them probably Sunday when I get back.

I heard a sample of the audio book before my paperback arrived, so when I sat down to read it it was interesting to me how the narrative took up that actor's voice, :) I think there are a couple places that would have read differently to me if I hadn't had the voice just right. And a couple places where that movie my boyfriend made me watch, what was it... In Bruges I think... Anyway the voice of the mains took over from the audio book guy.

That's right. I said it. Colin Farrell read your book in my head.
I am not displeased. ;)
