DISCUSSION -- June 2015 75-word Writing Challenge

Following last month's theme, is this a Phil Collins album played in reverse? "Good-bye, I must be coming"? ;)

*Grins and waits for necessary stream of consciousness to reveal story*

Great theme! I've already wrote a story, but I'm gonna try and wait a while before posting. Looking forward to seeing what everyone else comes up with.

Nice theme and like the continuity with last month.

I also have a story ready which I will let breathe for a while

I wonder if writing the reverse of last month's story will happen much. Maybe i should write the reverse of Victoria's seeing as she won. Good theme though, nice and open.

Was this planned?

I mean, usually, isn't it supposed to be first coming, then going? Or is that only something that happens when a person with a weak heart can't take the strain in bed?

Either way, I doubt this will be any harder than last month. :) Good to see my birth month will be doable. :D

Nice broad theme. Seems like the broad themes are in vogue at present, which probably accounts for the recent increase in entries and breadth of subject matter.

I haven't a clue about anything (in life, as well as the Challenge) at present, so will hope that inspiration hits me over the course of the month some time.

@Karn Maeshalanadae It's your birthday in June? Snap :D

Well it's obvious who the main characters are but I'm undecided on point of view. It'll be the same story either way and it's one that has been on hold in my head for a couple of months. It all depends on how the last line comes out.

I should really wait, contemplate, regurgitate, allow to percolate, but the story popped into my head so I had to let it fly. Or crash spectacularly onto the jagged rocks below. So, ah, I'm in. BTW, nice open subject.

Given things would be in reverse, you'd be guaranteeing getting no points.

You'd be far better writing the reverse of my nil point effort.

Well, if we're in shorts -- and 75 worders are very short -- we shouldn't be surprised that the bar will be set too high for us....

There you are, Hex - an easier target.

I don't think I've ever posted on the first day before - certainly not in verse.

An interesting theme this month a nice reflection of last month.

And here come the comments/ Not trying to be as abrupt as last one, but trying to be a little more concise than normal. We'll see how it goes.

telford – Divine justice is meted out to one who truly deserves it, a nice little twist on the subject of reincarnation.

Robert – The monotony and boredom of waiting, there is a humour in the conclusion. It’s always a headache.

Chris – A feel of almost melancholy as the human race does not seem to learn. Put off today what your children can do tomorrow.

Ashleyne – A happy feel to a story that brings all the popular creatures together for the best of reasons, to celebrate the birthday of the greatest of them all.

I'm in. Wrote two but kept the second one for a possible later month... that is if a theme comes up where I can shove it in :)

Luiglin – An amusing tale that incorporates an epic quest, complete with all the trials and tribulations, and a beautiful punchline.
