Is Varys actually a eunuch?

More importantly... we need to know what Varys' agenda is. Is it stability as he told Eddard? Or is it the restoration of the Targs as most of us suspect?

Or is it perhaps that he sees himself as both? After all, all the best lies have a bit of truth in them.

Ambiguity that is Varys amuses me. I think that is why he is one of my favourites. <3

Anushka, I hope GRRM leaves us some ambiguity and enigmas. I want to know all about Tyrion, the Song of Ice and Fire, and who will sit upon the Iron Throne, but I sort of hope we never meet Lynesse, see Varys naked, or hear Howlwnd Reed wrap up the story like Hercule Poirot.

Well, about Varys and Lynesse, kind of the same. About Howland, I don't think he'll wrap up the story like Poirot, but I do think if R+L=J, we'll need him to confirm that. And I really think that he'll only be relevant for the events of Tower of Joy in some capacity. I don't think he'll be relevant for much else unless he's been secretly playing the game for a very long time.
