Due date is October 1st, but the earlier the better.
Mad Alice: I would like some kind of punkish type tale featuring at least one mention of a cat in one form or another, that enjoys cinnamon and milk in one form or another. The cat can be animatronic, robotic, demonic, vampiric, angelic, ghostly, hallucinogenic, catwoman, neko, or even just pictured in an advert at a space port in passing. (But there has to be at least one meow, real or imaginary).
Cascade: Could I get a story featuring food, with an Arabian Nights type flavour? the story, not the food, or maybe the food, whatever.
Kerrybuchanan: Steampunk, please, with a steamship and aliens. I'm easily pleased.
J Riff: Offhand... Dinosaurs, in ancient dinosaur times, doing real dinosaur stuff and trying to catch the timetraveller humans. Maybe set in Dino-POV. They could get quite clever you know... and they had millions of years to wise up, figure out how to do stuff. They could... start avalanches, set traps, form unions - all kinds of semi-intelligent behavior. So we see the humans as snacks, nothing more, in DinoPov. How the humans got there, what happens to them, that's the story.
jastius: Could i get a teeny story about fire?
DG Jones: I think I'd like something involving an occult conspiracy, shady Governments and glamorous international locations. And an MC I can believe in.
Robert Mackay: I would like a story set in a post-apocalyptic but non-authoritarian dystopia. (i.e. more Fallout than Hunger Games, as reference points only).
ratsy: I would like a horror story set on a small island in the middle of the ocean.
johnnyjet: I would like a story about aliens living among us who are completely unrecognizable as aliens until someone begins to notice something different about them, leading to a quest to find out who they were and what their intentions were.Really? Another conspiracy story? You've got to be kidding! Ah, but I want a fresh take on the theme. There's the challenge!
TheDustyZebra: I think I want a story about a guy who goes to his bank vault (safe deposit box) every day, and what that's about.
holland: I'd like: soft sci-fi, time travel, set in space, Fermi paradox, at least one character an intelligent robot.
chrispenycate: I think I'd like one on Forensic demonology.
marmalade: I would like a story that takes place in the space of a day (interpret that as you will) and which features anything but a human as the MC.
Vaz: I would like a spaghetti steampunk western, about a gang of vault thieves and their wolf accomplice.
Phyrebrat: I'd like a scary story set in the 70s, please. Usual disclaimer (no werewolves or vampires).
Germinad: I'd like a story about the Sicilian Mafia, set at least one thousand years in the future, with an anti-hero and a very likeable villain if possible.
Twistedlemon: Very simple. Star wars characters/movies reinterpreted to be in typical high school.
David Doherty-Jebb: I would like a story about a retired lady monster hunter in her sixties, please.
David Evil Overlord: I think I'd like a story with a very non-human race (crustaceans, perhaps?), with a blend of technology and magic.
The Storyteller: I would like to request a fairy-tale story with no human characters (animals, insects, plants, and/or inanimate objects are all acceptable). Multiple fairy-tales can be mixed together if desired, and there must be at least one character who speaks only in rhymes!! (Pirates are also cool, but not required.)
