I am here to do the thing!
Why not release a book of doodles instead, like Alexa Chung?
http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/1846147549/?tag=brite-21

Or some random pictures of not much in particular, like Chloe Sevigny?
http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/0847845109/?tag=brite-21

Or maybe a book of selfies, preferably documenting the evolution of your outlandish cleavage, like Kim Kardashian?
http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/0789329204/?tag=brite-21

I don't know about anyone else but Ive got the distinct feeling I've wasted my life with this writing lark. Never mind.

Hee. Allegedly their sales fund new authors... Allegedly. :D

On the positive side, many people are hopefully like my 11yo, who loves reading (she's just finishing John Green's The Fault in our Stars, and her favorite books are the Hunger Games trilogy) but just bought a book by one of her favorite You Tubers which appears to basically be a collection of post-it notes. A little bit of one thing, a little bit of the other...

Celebrities are created by ourselves,John Q Public,Esq.
We make them what they are.
No audience,no sycophants,no fans,no (social)media coverage,no hype:very few "celebrities" will remain

Call me smug, but I don't actually know who Alexa Chung is. Anyhow, this rather super review was on Amazon for her book:

"Even after my second read, I am still struggling to understating the point of this book. Highlight was probably the drawing of the onion midway through."

Same here Toby, my first reaction was who? To be honest I still can't get my head around why Kim Kardashian gets so much attention.

Sorry just looked her up, I can't see anything really special about her.

Just noticed this. Sigh. Yeah, why read something that is involving, exciting, moving, mysterious, romantic or curious when you can stare at inane images that mean nothing. Shakes head at the declining state of the world.

Hi,

Actually I didn't know who the first two were - not even after I followed the links. But I don't know crap about fashion.

However this third one gives me an idea. I'm going to take a whole bunch of selfies too - stuff them in a book - and then see how much people will pay me to have the book removed!

Cheers, Greg.
