You go into a bath exploding coma for a week and look what happens. Right better get to it.

Pistols at Dawn by one DG Jones – If he’s an anarchist what’s he doing pandering to the masses on a stage? Smacks to me of a touch of double standards or I suspect a clever marketing ploy? What are they called again Beck’s Bristols? Minion book them in.

Time forever short by one Judderman – Do you know how hard it is to breed a giant vampiric turkey? Neither do I, but it sounds damn delicious. Stoke the fire Minion.

The secret ingredient by one Glen – another spiffing tale. I bet they had handle bar moustaches and collars so starched that they could be used to slice a turkey. Is that thing done yet Minion? Topped off by a snifter of more fortified wine. Top-hole, eh what?

The Little Engine that Really Could by one johnnyjet – Oh joy, a toy for a young boy that escapes him on Christmas morn. A truly evil design and one that must be applauded.

A time for Joy by one HazelRah – Hmmm … I’m not one for sentimentality. What? Fine, yes Minion, I agree that watching Norman play Goblin tennis does bring a tear to my eye. Yet, this tale speaks to the depths of my soul and my soul says … pass the salt will you, this giant vampiric turkey could do with a bit of seasoning.

Stand by one Langadune – I also hate spiders, unless done fricassee with a nice bottle of Kraldalusian white. What Minion? Oh, they’re not eating them. Well that’s a waste.

Unknown by one Cathbad – What Minion? He’s new, so be gentle? I’m always the very epitome of calm constructive commentary. A train trip to Hades and a full one at that. A perfect example of a man enjoying his job.

The price of progress (and glue!) by one Bowler1 – Horrible, absolutely horrible. I mean to feel sad over such an act. That’s just plain horrible. At least there was a happy ending though.

The Last Note by one Saharren – Why waste such elemental power on making music. Grab that destructive force and channel it to obliterate your enemies and not to serenade them.

You've Got Mail
tehee, Santa got Jury Duty.
Ok it doesnt say Santa, but that's where my mind went.

Lenny -- The fact that advances in technology alone cannot change the mundane annoyances of everyday life is demonstrated in this satiric tale.

willwallace -- In this darkly comic holiday offering, we see once again that turnabout is fair play.

In again, Minion? Excellent. How do you do this hacking?

Right.

Yes.

I see.

Wait... so when do you use the axe?

You've got mail by one Lenny - well that was noisy. Minion, what is jury duty? Trial by your peers? What absolute nonsense. If someone is guilty you just get Norman to drop them in the snargle pit. I understand St. Nick's consternation now.

Progress by one willwallace - If you have a red nose that constantly glows the only path you can take is the Dark side. It is inevitable.

Once again, light by one Juliana - That abomination dressed in scraps of red velvet and white fur truly deserves his fate. My Christmas wish come true. What, Minion? I know our Christmas wishes are for the Dark Lady and her Minionette, a roaring fire and copious mistletoe but that doesn't sound as ominous does it!

And those that do... by one farntfar - Nemesis, nemeses, nemesum, nemesi, nemesae. Sorry, just a spot of Latin stutter. What, Minion? Yes, I know some of those don't exist but that spoils the joke. Eh? It wasn't funny? Everyone's a critic.

Once Again, Light
I'd like to see the figurine this is based on! Once voting is done of course.

And those who do...
NO~BOdy expects- something completely different!
well played sir. well played.

Saharren (Good – a kitten!) – Sometimes the best ideas in the world, like tapping nature for power are absolutely perfect, until nature has a different idea.

Lenny (Good – a toy Difference Engine) – So much hard work just to collect and deliver and open the post, Clever use of sounds to convey the contraption in action.

willwallace (Naughty) – Turnabout is fair play, Santa may have got there first, but the reindeer weren’t too far behind, and as in many things it is who gets there first that wins the prize. Or early ‘retirement’

Juliana (Good – a brand new Christmas Bauble) – a sad little tale that is seen from an unusual perspective, shows the passage of time achingly well, and maybe for some Christmas is only a short period of life.

farntfar (Good – a BMX bike) – Putting aside a fully entertaining story, I kept going back to the ‘Steamy Davidson Penny Farthing’ gave me a great image that will long stay in my mind.
