Uncommon Purpose by P J Strebor is Published

J.L Dobias's reviews are always thoughtful, incisive and entertaining reads in their own right.

Well done on such a good review. It matches my own views on the work perfectly.

Leave a review, Alex. Pretty please :)

Hack-kaff, shuffle shuffle. Well, my responses to the things I read tend to be more visceral than verbal. Fifty five plus some odd years of avid, indiscrimenent reading of of anything adventurous, genre be damned; make me somewhat of a jaded old fart. And I do most of my fiction reading in bed, at odd hours; so any mental, verbal notes I might make tend to be lost by daybreak.

(In case anyone ever thought to wonder why I seldom post anything about my current reading)

That rather brilliant review by J L Dobias proves to be a hard act to follow. But I will take the suggestion under advisement. Should I mention how every time I read the name "Telford" a niggle at the back of my mind kept saying, "But he changed his name to "Droflet?"

So here's a query which never crossed my mind before: Do reviews posted on Amazon US appear on Amazon UK?

Four 5-star reviews on Amazon now for P J Strebor's Uncommon Purpose. I had a feeling this would do well. 10 books in the series.

Phil you are doing very well. To be in top 5000 on US Amazon is great.

Look who is #1 on hot releases in one Amazon best seller list.

Don't choke on your porridge, Phil. :)

Great news. Sold 35 on Saturday.

I think we could be witnessing the birth of a bestseller.

Uncommon Purpose still rising.

This is on Amazon.com which is a huge market compared to the UK. I think another cigar may be appropriate.

Congrats, Droflet and Gary and everyone! Amazing success! I will be reading this is the near future, and will leave a review then; the reviews so far are wonderful. Continued success, CC

You're welcome, Droflet! And thank you, Gary, but I bought this first day...intrigued by the premise. :)

ps- not sure how closely you track the sales, UK vs USA, but I have to buy my Kindle books through the US site, even though I live in Europe...I bought my Kindle in the US, and Amazon UK will not let me download books from their site.

Onboard the space dock, control can report P J Strebor's Uncommon Purpose has hit warp-drive, and is closely followed behind her by Ralph Kern's Erebus. They are on a course upwards.

The rest of the Tickety Boo Fleet are also heading to the anomaly called Amazon US.

There are also similar outbreaks in UK Amazon.

Space Dock on red alert!

Oh and I forgot to tell you. Amazon are like big brother, they monitor what people read on their devices.

Yesterday and today so far, 22,000 pages of your book have been read. That is equivalent to 73 books.

Not bad - eh! Shall we have a cigar?
