The latest 300-worder is up. As always with the longer form, entries can be posted from the 10th of the month (in this case April), but that doesn't mean no-one can talk about the challenge until then.

And as ever, the image is only there to provide inspiration; your story does not have to reference it, even indirectly.

Awesome, Cul! :) While DG stews, I'll be percolating ideas the next few days.

Evocative picture. I already wrote one, but I might have gone overboard. I'm planning to send it to the mods to see if I can use it. Evocative picture, though.

Time for some adjectives and adverbs, Perp! :)
(I'm worried about mine...I don't know if I know enough about writing to finish the story so that it doesn't seem...inconsequential. :( We'll see...)

I've got an idea for an extra paragragh, which might just do the trick, but I hate my last line.... takes all the punch out of the story.

Six minutes flat, and - I suspect - my shortest story ever. It'll no win, but it might give ye a laugh.

And I've done.

What a strange feeling. I can't even post yet....

I did get it up to 300 words in the end, a work of unparalleled... something.

This is going to take some thinking. Brain, I choose you!

I wrote something for this challenge. I'm letting it fester before I go back and tweak it so that at least it's readable. Good luck to everyone.
