Game of Thrones: 6.02 - Home

Hmm, not sure it its' the same person, but in last season there where a couple fo children whom came out of the cave in the aid of the travelling group, plsu i think she may be the one that guided bran inside the cave towards brynden

Thanks for the help. Do you think we can assume these beings are the (grr can't remember the term now from the books) children of the forest / first ones? The ones responsible for the faces on the trees associated with the old gods?

Thoughts on who the oathbreaker is in ep. 3? Or are spoiler speculations not allowed in this thread?

I'm pretty sure it alludes to Ned, Jon, Jaime or Brienne. Previews indicate we are getting a flashback about a certain tower, where Ned makes a certain unknown promise. It could refer to Jon being freed from his vows by his death. It could mean Jaime leads troops into the Riverlands, breaking his vows to Catelyn. Or a book plot involving Brienne, Pod and a certain lady....

I thought of all those too. I wonder if it may be a less obvious choice though, like Ramsay's Maester deciding there's no way he can be Ramsay's Maester.

My guess would be Jon breaking his oath to the watch to go wreak havoc on the Boltons.

I figure the Ned flashback is just to give someone their true identity, not sure Jaime is ready to go the riverlands yet and I can't quite see how the Brienne / certain lady storyline can play out now that Brienne has actually saved Sansa.

Not sure if it's been mentioned before but are the Sparrows a representation of the change of power from state to church,a kind of reverse medieval timeline?

Just watched a preview of Episode 3 and I am so excited. The Tower of Joy features with Ned uttering those words "Now it ends"

With these episodes it normally relates to more than 1 storyline. The main one would be Jon, plus the flashback to Ned, but could also be in reference to Jaime, or even the Kingsmoot on the Iron Islands. Could be the Karstarks or some other faction turning against Ramsay (or the Freys). Lots of possibilities, I expect we'll see more than one!

When i was thinking of the tower of joy, i always used to think it was ned 'breaking' his vow towards catelyn and possible robert by lying about Jon. But what if he actually broke his vow towards lyanna? i'm guessing that won't be the case. But just to put a twist on things

Well, if R+L=D then he may very well be breaking a vow to lyanna ;)

Tyrion - dragons! But aren't they still kept captive, even if unchained? Or is there a big hole they can fly out from (to find Dany)?

Dany's ships destroyed so she can't sail to Westeros with her army, means she's still advanced no further plot-wise since 3/4 of the way through the first book, Game of Thrones/Season 1. She's already spent 5 books/seasons "almost" being ready to take up her claim - I hope the writers aren't going to mess about with her all season here as well.

Jon - well, Melissandre's handwavium was a little disappointing, though I guess we've had resurrection very much foreshadowed, not least with Thoros. However, the question remains as to whether Jon has warged back from Ghost. Also - he's still blue and filled with wounds (which are somehow not bleeding). Does this mean he's actually a White Walker??

Arya - Jaqen!

Patience Brian. Just keep watching and you'll see things starting to move very fast.
