Awesome choices, Mosaix. I had an immediate idea, which I then obsessed over for a couple of hours.

Interesting story @Ashleyne. B. Watts. My head hurts trying to wrap itself around it.

I'm determined to make a better story this month. I should have the time, now if I can summon up the ability.

Terrific choices, mosaix. And great stories so far! I'm in...good writing, everyone! CC

Did everyone who posted already have these written, just waiting for a similar theme or something?

Ashleyne B. Watts - Time travel pieces always make my head spin. I feel for the soon to be grieving widow. Consider her the champion of all the world's idly threatening wives though. However, perhaps her husband hadn't discovered his maniacally genocidal tendencies until he got married.

Reiver33 - I'm stumped. I think if I had a few hours to stare at your story I think I could figure it out how some of the contradictions spiral back around to connect everything, but alas I have work and family etc. etc. Some regimes never discounted any idea for furthering the agenda though.

Gawain - Frustration is the torturer here, not the radiation, not the apocalypse, not the abandonment. He is in complete control, yet chooses to let the emotion control him. Personal spirit must be won before the World War can be won.

Cathbad- I need some clarification but am hoping it doesn't cause a rift in the space/time/rules continuum. First sentence "get." Last sentence "got."

Purposeful or mistake?

Hopewrites - Very clever. I'd think they need more than an Isle for all the procrastinators. Although, I guess that's the one on the way to heaven...

Just because there's a rift doesn't mean the results will always be the same... or does it?

I liked this theme right off and fits easily with us SciFi fans on here. I will be posting, but I have to brew on my idea and polish some more yet.
