Okay the threads are up and open - please could a mod sticky?

For any newbies - entries should be PM'd to me (click on Start a Conversation in my avatar). Stories will then be anonymously posted in the entry thread. When the entry period ends a poll for voting will open, then I'll post a list of all the authors who've entered here so that folks can try to guess who wrote which story, then once voting closes I'll reveal who wrote what - and the winner will attain immortality. Clear?

Twenty days to get your entries in! @Cathbad - if this flops you will be receiving plenty of side eye from me. :D

Well, no sooner had I posted this than our first entry came in - an idiosyncratic fairy story.

And a third entry which came in overnight makes it three excellent stories on the bounce - a Dickian body-swap encounter.

The story stork delivers again - Asimovian robotics in a dystopian setting.

Thank you, story stork!

So many different angles on the theme.

*blinks*

*smiles*

We're a rather creative bunch aren't we :D
Absolument! You took the words out of my keyboard.

And here comes that wonderful stork again with another two bouncing, bright-eyed stories -

The Thief of Time - a unique kind of vampirism.

Childhood - a personal account of tragedy.

"My Fairy Carers" -- Youth is in the mind, not the body.

"Dead or Alive" -- Youth is something which can be lost and regained.

"New Skin For Old" -- Youth is a commodity which can be very expensive.

"Trust Me, I'm a Doctor" -- Youth can be made a victim by evil.

"Birthday" -- Youth needs to be protected from a dangerous world.

"The Thief of Time" -- Youth is a prize for which the wicked may do anything.

"Childhood" -- Youth can be a curse instead of a blessing.

Hey hey hey, it's another anonymous story -

Stranded - Douglas Adams-style darkly comic science fiction.

Is it another entry to the anonymous challenge? Why yes it is!

The Siren Call of Time - a fresh perspective on a classic character.

Two more entries! Huzzah!

Tea - a poignant domestic portrait of a miracle drug.

New World Order
- a singular alien invasion captured in authentic dialogue.

You'll never guess what it is! Another entry!

Nation of Youth - enigmatic strokes paint a picture of a dissonant world.

Whee! Another story!

Duty - a low fantasy of brutal revenge and redemption.

One week left to get your entries in, people. Those who don't will be bereft. Bereft I say!
