I’m writing a book that will probably be ready for publication in 2 – 3 months. The book is a collection of horror stories, depicting hauntings in several venues and times. The story titles aren’t etched in stone yet, so I’ve left them out. But here’s where the hauntings take place:

Ø Haunted House (a home in a remote area of western Kentucky) (1970’s)
Ø Ghost Space Ship (distant future)
Ø Haunted Beach Resort (1920s)
Ø Haunted Graveyard (near Naples, Italy) (1st Century)
Ø The White House (1850’s)
Ø Haunted Museum (near future)
Ø Haunted High School (1970s)
Ø Haunted Woods (medieval)
Ø Ghost Space Ship (same one as before)
Ø Haunted House (same one as before)

Depending on page total, I might add 1 or 2 more.

My working title for the book is “Hauntings Everywhere”, but I don’t like it. Any suggestions?

Ghost Stories. Haunts. A Chill to the Bones. Deathly Visions. Meh. Or wait till the collection is finished a hope for inspiration.

Cool! In Timeless Haunts there are kind of double meanings to both words, which might work for you...especially with haunts, as it struck me that each story happens in a unique location, and 'haunt' as a noun is a frequented place. Sounds like a great concept for a book! CC

You're not the only one. Cathbad. It took me a year to come up with a decent title for my second book.

Is there an overarching narrative across the various stories, or a particular purpose that brings them together? Or are you just looking for a catchy label with which to wrap the collection?
