Ebook Bundles and Deals

Ugh, I paid full whack for the stormlight books; didn't like them, still my only books to not finish and delete off my e-reader.

But hey, great deals if you like Sanderson

I've bought a handful on spec, and finished the first: Once a Hussar, which about a British artilleryman who barely survived the war in North Africa, and became a POW in Italy before escaping. It's one of the most detailed and intense WWII biographies I've read to date - so much so, that I've ordered the sequel about his post-war life in England to see what happened to him after. Unusually for me, I've bought it as a full-priced new paperback, to ensure either he or his estate gets a much deserved royalty. Once a Hussar can be found here, currently just for 99p:

In my search for more of the books on my list of top 100+ Sci Fi I stumbled upon a whole load of public domain books and short stories, most of them are quite old, but there are some more recent books in there too.

I picked up two from my list but there are a number there that I've already bought, so whilst there are lots that might not be of the highest quality there are some gems in their midst.
