Just a cheeky thread-hijacking reminder: there's still time to vote for your favourite entry in the Anonymous 100-word challenge over in the Workshop.

My story came to me pretty much instantly. Not as blood thirsty or horror embracing as most my others...

Cool stories so far. It's gonna be an interesting month.

HOLE-LY RUSTED METAL BATMAN!!!

My metal chair rusted, creating holes in it, and it snagged my pants. Plus Batman is standing next to you.

@StilLearning

Sci-fi Stage Fright. Heh heh. Very good StilLearing. You're talking to a guy who was a "ham" on stage when he was a kid. I laugh at myself thinking about how silly I was as a kid.

EEEENteresting. Going to have to chew on this one for a while. Mmm, tastes like ideas.

Glen -- A powerful indictment of the all too common human tendency to ignore the vital and concentrate on the trivial.

Cat's Cradle -- A gripping account of the terrible cost of war, and the fragile psyches of those who have experienced it.

Ashleyne. B. Watts -- A wry look at the way our creations mimic us, and mirror our flaws.

Wruter -- An amusing variation on classic themes, with commentary on our limited tolerance for the unfamiliar.

@Ashleyne. B. Watts - The Robutler :

A wonderful story about living with someone with really bad stage fright. Made me smile and it was a good complete story which I loved. Two thumbs up! (y)(y)

@Wruter - The Phantom of the Space Opera :

A wonderful tale where you truly get a feel of the aliens face and about how fickle some love is. (y)

@Victoria Silverwolf - Thus Flesh Betrays Us :

An interesting comment on how far some people would go to fix "imperfections".
