Something I've always wondered about Createspace.

For the PDF, I just used Word - Save As > PDF or XPS

I had problems with the PDF at first, because I tried to customise the settings according to what Createspace asked for - but in the end, I found that the Woird default was totally fine.

Hmm, that does work for the cover, but I think it'll be too small. Cheers for the suggestion, nevertheless. Why the full cover (front, back and spine) has to be a PDF rather than PNG or JPEG is beyond me.

Ah, apologies, I was talking about the interior content, not the cover.

Np, and I might try that for the interior anyway to see if it helps improve the DPI business (I'm hoping that'll be alright either way. Rejigging a few family trees, if I know how, won't be hard but I'm not redrawing the map, it'll just take too long).

But with huge delivery costs if you arn't in the US sadly. The proof of Liberator cost around £12 including delivery. And it got lost in the post, but CS sent a new one by fastest delivery, which was like 48hours. They do have very good service and answer queries and requests very promptly.

Yeah that's true.
