For me, it came down to a choice between The Judge and Hex, both with great stories. Hex won out, as hers read more personal to me, with a slightly more defined focus. So many good stories in the mix, though!

Many congratulations/ commiserations to TJ and ratsy for their brilliant stories -- that was incredibly close!

I voted for ratsy's beautiful story -- it gave me chills all over -- and I had a loooong short list which I'll post later (sorry I didn't before -- as I said, I've been rocking under a desk since yesterday afternoon (or at least hiding from the Challenges threads)).

I think I have an idea for December... maybe. (Muhahahahaha.)
