Cover Reveal (and free ARCs) The Beguiler

I have an ARC!! Yey me!

And I read the first 60 pages today, and I still have goosebumps. Really, truly, if you don't get tearful at the beginning of this book, you're a MONSTER!!!! (or, possibly, not as inclined to cry at scary and emotional scenes as I am...)

Wow! @crystal haven - that's you Hex is talking about. :)

@Abernovo: Reviews on Goodreads or Amazon (or both) would be ideal, but if you prefer some other appropriate site that you frequent -- here, sffworld, etc. -- we would be equally grateful. Reviews would be most useful if posted around the end of February or the beginning of March.

Abernovo and Kerry: just let me know if you would prefer .mobi, PDF, or e-pub and I'll send them today. (Or maybe early tomorrow your time, depending on when you reply.)

And thanks!

I've seen reviews on Amazon that appeared on the page suspiciously fast unless the reviewers had read the books from ARCs and sent the reviews in before pub day. But I'm sure this could only apply to books that are available for pre-order. I don't think Gary does that. So Amazon a day or two after the book is released and Goodreads a week or two either side of February 28 would be perfect.

But we'll be grateful for reviews even if you can't hit any of those dates.

And for those who write reviews, could you send me a copy when you do? I'd appreciate it very much. You can attach files to the Conversations/PMs here, or you can email them to venusascending@ticketyboopress.co.uk.

Or, of course, if I emailed you an ARC you have my address.

Will do. Downloaded, and now on my Kobo, ready to read.

I thought I'd read a chapter or two before bed last night... Next thing I know I'm 20% of the way through the book, and really didn't want to put it down. Only my need for sleep made me put it aside.
and to anyone who will be volunteering -- it's not too late
I'd heartily recommend to anyone - it's a very enjoyable read.:)

No tears from me (although it was a close-run thing), but it was a great opening.
