I'm still in rewrites of novel one, but should be done those soon. Then I want to finish my first draft of Sleepy Grove, which Im 45K into. After that, is the sequel to the first one. I hope to have all of those done in 2017!
I am just finishing edits of The Event now. (Then a final read through)
Sleepy Grove first draft is done!!! Still can't believe I've written two novels
And I just added another 1000 words to the Event sequel yesterday, and still plan on having it done this year for sure. Hoping for first draft done by the end of summer.
Goes to show, have goals and with some real work, you can reach them.
I don't often quote myself, but since the above post in January I have suspended writing on the second volume of the YA series, as the first one still hasn't sold - my agent is still hopeful - and I am 20,000 words into a crime thriller, which will take me most of this year. All good fun!
Well, it's going ok, all things considered. It looks as if The Pincers of Death will be out in September or October, which is exciting. I am currently editing the very rough rough draft (ie writing the bits I skipped the first time round) and trying to make the jokes work.
The fantasy novel is coming on. I've decided what I want to do with it and am about 40% of the way through the first draft. It's had to slow down for a variety of reasons, but it's getting there.
finally finalizing the self-publication of my first book, really, the day has finally arrived. The interior should be done, and I'm finishing the last draft of the book cover. Then the galley draft, and then, release!!!
