A Growing indifference to Cinema Going

I know Sorbo is into Christian movies (he doesn't talk about it there) but he makes a good point about how technology allows one to do so many things. Teenagers have access to media tech that wealthy filmmakers couldn't access before the 2000s.

This guy cracks me up because he analyzes these awful film--why does he torture himself?

And down the road there will likely be more Jurassic related movies.

I saw an advertising inside a Walmart for recent movies--a T-Rex was roaring in one of the images-superheroes...-it all felt so sterile.

I didn't bother going to see it.

I can see two films which pique my interest The Dungeons and Dragon film looks like fun as does the upcoming final Indiana Jones film .:)

Im Sorry , not at all familiar with Hawkwind .:(
They were/are an English rock band from the seventies who had many final tours before breaking up but somehow never quite managed to break up and are, as far as I'm aware, actually still going today! I went to at least two 'final tour' concerts back in the day. They're probably best known for their hit 'Silver Machine'. Used to be a bit of a joke back then.

Go to anywhere where you're a captive audience, and you'll pay through the nose; theatre, cinema, airport, train station, concert etc. Often because the retailer has had to pay through the nose to get the site in the first place - but not always.

I remember going to (my one and only) theatre performance in London. Ticket was about £60 for a matinee performance (and it wasn't even the best view), but the cost of a small tub of ice cream in the foyer was ridiculous; haven't they already had enough of my money?

Then again, you could always become a 'cinema smuggler' (there's a very funny song by 'The Lancashire Hotpots' on Youtube).
