Star Trek - Discovery - 1.04: The Butcher's Knife Cares Not for the Lamb's Cry

This wasn't the first mention of it. We discussed it briefly in an earlier episode thread.

It's just if Michael would know that the Klingon's were talking about qualities of captain's meat, while she fiddled with the will. I wonder if it will come up in upcoming episode where she actually get to talk to one. Will they mention the case or eye hungrily some poor redshirt?

No, seriously. She should have known better!
Chief of security, remarks on how the water-bear killed a dozen klingons, knows it shrugs off phaser blasts set to kill, but somehow thinks she'll be able to stun and declaw it on her own. That was never going to end well.

I get they're going for a "anyone can die" vibe, but why go for dying in the dumbest way possible?

That said, I rather enjoyed this.
Finally we know why they went for the (wasteful) open ring design.
They spin to make the "improbability drive" work. After months of speculations, I didn't see that coming!
