I would like a story about numbers in exactly 222 words (if that seems like a reasonable request)

Oh, I just realized I might be too late, forget this post if I am :)

What do you think, fam? Shall I go ahead and start allocating stories? Chris is totally right; the numbers I was hoping for have not materialised so there's not really any need for me to hold off. And it would be easier for me as I leave for the States on 28th December, so I can do it before then.

I am a horrendous person and was waiting right for the last day to submit mine - I dunno about others, but if we're bringing the final submissions date forwards, a profile post saying 24 hours to go sounds right (assuming there wasn't one that I missed...)

I would like a story where a metaphor of the author's choosing is taken literally.

The story should also mention one or all of the following (that means not two of them): music, snow, a photo.

All right, 'Brat, you were right; lots of potential holding back till the last second, worse even than submitting to a 'standard' challenge. Just an even more abrupt cutoff curve.

Since the suggested range is from one to five thousand words don't you feel that cutting it that short might be a bit frustrating (but evidently relaxing) for your Santa's little helper? Perhaps 2,222 words, though this would upset my proposed 'Third of the Beast' title…

Well I didn't realize there was a suggested range.. In that case, let's make it 1998 words for "Nine Thirds of the Beast" (or simply Three Beasts, whatever) :)

I was waiting to see if I could get a better idea. But I can't, so here's my request:

A dying warrior, a divine visitation, and redemption.

Genre left wide open.

The rules on the door said: 1-10k words as a suggested amount, but that there was no word limit. :)

Hi all, (even the naughty ones like TDZ),

You should have received your writing prompts by now as I have matched and dispatched. About three of them I think are perfect matches for author/recipients so I am really looking forward to end of Feb when I get to see what you've done with them.

Best of luck.

I'm really sorry but think I'm going to have to drop out of this. I've been assigned one of the more complicated asks and it'd require more brain power than I currently possess. Hopefully @Phyrebrat can give whoever got my request the one I'd got instead.
