Need Help: Name ideas for a group of elite sci-fi soldiers

They are not Nazi's and the ancient humans come from another galaxy and settled their civilisation on earth during the Oligocene epoch and then a war happens and most of ancient humanity are killed with a few factions of humanity survive but the generations after, lose the knowledge of all their advanced tech and sciences, returning to hunter-gathers of their long lost ancestors millions of years ago.

Maybe something mythological. Nephilim comes to mind, although they were giants. Or Spartans, although HALO has contaminated that. :)

Well, I get that but I was thinking of localised context. Example: The Nephilim are bio-genetically engineered, however the egg is from an actual human female and is inseminated by a synthetic sperm, thus the Nephilim are created by "the sons of god"/synthetic sperm and "the daughters of men"/human female. I hope that make sense...

Nephilim come from Jewish religion/mythology, don't they? How would that word/concept exist before Jewish people existed? By your own timeline, you cannot reference any culturally/historically specific concept from our current history without raising eyebrows.

Well what about Nephilite? Or is that still too close because if it is then I don't know what to use. I want a name that sounds cool and that people would recognise as being something from my thing, but I don't want it to be overcomplicated as they won't remember it

Maybe reference something from their own culture? Make up a word that means guardians, heavenly soldiers or something.

If you are assuming a culture predating the fertile crescent you can merely assume the word - and the concept - oozed into the nomadic cultures and Aramaic from outside, from older civilisations. Words can do that, migrate across frontiers and still be hanging about when the people who have coined them are gone and forgotten. Still, I'd have expected a High-tech civilisation that recent to have left some evidence to annoy archeologists.

That true but maybe archeologists can't find anything belonging to this advanced civilisation because there were still a few extinction events and ice ages after the civilisation died out, maybe even due to one. Plus don't forget that the tectonic plates will still shift quite a bit before looking anything like today's earth landscape so the shifting of the earth (new landmasses spring up) will surely cover any ruins from this civilisation, maybe its just that they haven't found any yet. I do have some ruins at the base of Mt.Kilimanjaro found much later on in another connect story idea set in modern day times so hopefully that makes up for the lack of evidence of this civilisations existence. What do you think?

I know it has been talked about a lot, but my two cents would be things along the line of Immortals, or something along the lines of un-dying.

The other things that I think works is something like Armored or Assult, mobile Infentry.

The only thing is I don't want to give them a name like Immortals or undying because even though they are practically super soldiers, they can and will still die

So could and did the Persian Immortals. In that case, the point was that any casualties were immediately replaced; the point being that the unit was what mattered and individual soldiers were irrelevant. IIRC.

Terms like "immortals" are often used to strike fear in the enemy. When I was in Korea (in the 70's, not the war), front line troops painted a sign of a U.S. Soldier holding a gutted baby, which read: "We'll eat your babies". Poor taste, yes, but not at all uncommon.
