Seriously - you'd be surprised on how wide my scope of technology I class as real science fiction - saga-length type story behind this, which you just would not believe!

I have a story. Not my normal type, both in structure and POV. I hope it fits the brief. Word count 3700 or there about. Needs editing, and I will run it through my writing group at the next meeting. Hope it is ok.... Oh it has SF type element or sorts I think??
 
So far the list of people saying they have stories or are well into producing stories are

Oops... I had your name in my mind, but somehow my brain's neurons did not transmit to my typing fingers... apologies and grovellations...

That makes 7 definite subs to the anthology with 7 possibles (if you include Victoria). Wow!
 
I've finished editing my story (at least for now as I have to go onto something else). So I'm going to start a list of stories ready to go into the critiquing process in the writing group forum. For anyone not able to access that forum, please PM me with the details of: Your name on this forum, word count, a very few words about the type of story it is e.g. near future techno-thriller. I'll add them to the list.
 
I am in the process of writing mine (actually hoping to get it finished tonight). It’s 5k right now and will probably end up around 10k before I start hacking at it. It’s absolutely ridiculous, but at least I find myself amusing...
 
I have something for this but have got bogged down with exam papers over the past couple of weeks and I'm aware today is the last day - can someone direct me to where I can post it?
