Wasn't there a best of the best several years ago? They must come out every so often.

The Best of the Best came out in 2005 and its companion, which concentrated on novellas, followed in 2007. Both of them covered the first 20 volumes of the series.

The new book is called THE VERY BEST OF THE BEST. It's due in early 2019. The table of contents was made known some time ago. The stories are selected from Volumes 21 to 35 (except for the very first story, which is from Volume 20). Here it is (from File 770):
