I don't know how sensitive people here are to spoilers, so I'll try to not to, unless specifically asked.
The first thing that bugged me though was the fact that Gaal Dornick is put to cryo-sleep for the journey to Trantor, because of the hyper-jump. In the books, this is a solved problem. Sure, in the days of Elijah Bailey the hyper-jump caused discomfort, but hello, Foundation is 20,000 years in the future, they figured that out, and Asimov mentions this on several occasions. Cryo-sleep is not a thing in the Foundation universe.
There is a lot of other things that bug me, like the diversity and inclusion police reassigning genders to key characters, or the inexplicable romantic subplot that adds nothing.
I understand TV is a different medium and the story needs to be treated to make it work on screen. But that's not what this is.
Also, what is it with all the British accents in SF nowadays? That's a weird Hollywood thing.
On a positive note, the visual splendor is awesome. Everything looks amazing.
