I guess the original book has been cancelled since I got a notice from Amazon that it is no longer available. Hopefully a new pre-order will be forthcoming a la Adam's post about two books. More Culture is always better.

Ordered. Well, I don't treat myself that often.

The Orbit website only mentions a special deluxe edition, @Rodders, with a print to frame and a special box, 750 numbered copies only. It's a bit steep, I think, at £250, but I dare say they'll be snapped up.

I’ve ordered the Contact edition, but if I have the opportunity to get the Special Circumstances edition I won’t hesitate.

I ordered the Contact edition as funds are a bit tight at the moment. (lots of prints, for some reason).
