October 2018 seventy-five word discussion thread

Very cool of you to step in, JJ! And spot on, with the review, merci! :)

ps - I think you've entered a lot of very good stories!
Glad I got it right, and glad you have enjoyed my humble offerings. I usually feel like a dwarf walking among giants when I submit something, so it is always encouraging to hear someone say they enjoyed it.

And, the appreciation of stories is mutual.

I know how I want to use the theme but cannot think of any plot that would be remotely interesting - yes, I know nothing new there but I usually can give it a reasonable go.

@scarpelius Orge Magical Boots: +10 Confidence: A pedal legacy becomes a transformative legacy, which helps finish an architectural legacy. Who knew the boots were the key

I've posted something: Tribal Border. Not being an American, I watch US politics with a certain fascination as it gradually inches towards resembling South African politics, where the leader of the third largest and fastest growing political party chants at his rallies for his followers to kill Whites:

"Dubula dubula (shoot! shoot!)
Aw dubul’ibhunu (shoot the Boer!)"

Interesting to see where the US finally ends up.

Thank you, Joshua and Victoria, for your interpretation. I'm not going to say right or wrong. Why? Because I like to see how my story was interpreted so I can decide what needs to change. There's not much in a story this size, no, but I like to see nonetheless.

So thank you. :giggle:

Really struggled with this one. Under a lot of pressure at work right now so that may be having an effect. Anyhow, I’m in. Be interesting to see if what I’m trying to say in my story is communicated as I was hoping

Luiglin bequeaths a tale of a bold venture into a new frontier, with wry commentary on technology's limitations.

Pedro Del Mar bequeaths a moving account of a final gesture of hope in the face of impending disaster.

Thank you Lady Victoria. (edit) I just noticed that you have been bequeathing often.

My idea came to me a few days ago. So I shot it, stuffed it, and hung it on the wall .

Where's the buffet? :D
