@johnnyjet - Tongue firmly in cheek - wouldn't it be easier just to list the ones you didn't like? ;)

Wow, @scarpelius, thank you so much. And thank you @johnnyjet for the mention too. Between you, you've already exceeded my expectations for this month's effort! That's my day made.

@Ursa major .... As They Like It? .... Ursa gives us a grand lead up to a grand pun on a supposed Biblical quotation.

@TheDustyZebra .... Giving Roots Of Kinship .... TDZ gives us an interesting story with a bang on, horror inducing ending.

@Mad Alice .... The Woman that Ate the Earth .... Mad A brings this month's 75 word stories to an end with a brand new creation myth.

Many thanks to the reviewers @Parson , @Victoria Silverwolf , and @Artoriarius . Your extra insight always adds to my appreciation of the stories.
Writing a story is one thing. Elevating it to something beautiful, humorous, or witty is an art.
There are so many great entries this month, it was a difficult choice for me.
My short list:
@Victoria Silverwolf Last Contact
@Culhwch The Hanging Tree
@Ivy Moser Longevity of Trees
@LittleStar Autumn Light
@dannymcg Square Up to Satan

My vote goes to @CTRandall Modelling Love in the Age of Big Data. I loved the take on ‘root’, and the cleverness of using the symbols as an alternative to words. It appealed to the nerd in me.
