Discussion thread: March 2019 75 word story challenge.

Wow, I found this really hard. It was hard to come up with a short list, and even harder to come up with a winner. Usually there is one story that just stands out for me. This was just not so this month. Truly I believe I could have put almost any story on my short list. But here are some which I was sure deserved it.

@dannymcg .... Phaseolus vulgaris .... For a clever story with middle-school humor.

@D.A. Xiaolin Spires .... The Startling Readings of the EKG .... For a really thought provoking last line.

@elvet .... The Final Hope .... For the best contemporary issue story.

@Peter V .... Birth .... For something really, really original.

@Karn's Return .... The Fate of the ESS Monitor .... For a whiff of a S.F. novel I'd like to read.

@Culhwch .... An Offering .... For the true soul sucking of a moral dilemma where an evil choice must be made.

@Bob Senior .... YOUNG LOVE .... For a story where true love trucks.

In the end I had to choose between D.A. Xialon Spires and Culhwch for my vote. So D.A. in runner-up position and Vote for Culhwch who made me feel a pain that wouldn't die and a decision that couldn't be denied.

These were great stories and I'm glad I entered so early on in my foray into the forum. Gave me a good idea of what it's all about. Just checked the voting and can see that the absence of the title from me was the killer in terms of popularity! If only I had known...

Great Whistling Widdershins!

A vote! How about that! Truly wonderful! Many thanks indeed @IanMH
