Well, I submitted... the one I sent at 11.42pm on the last day of the previous Open Door, which got lost in the crash as so many of us did the same!
I did think about slinging TBM into the mix as well as L&C, but I don't think it's good enough so I'll stick with one.
Everybody ready for this?
I wish I'd read this sooner....I spoke to the new commissioning editor at Eastercon yesterday. If you have a novel that was rejected in previous open door periods you can resubmit. They are a new team and are looking for different things.
I wish I'd read this sooner....
The last time I submitted to Angry Robot (in 2011) -- and the only time, which may or may not still be the case by June -- they weren't bothered about things like double line spacing, something that has a significant effect on how much text may be sent (unless one writes very long chapters).
Does anyone know whether this is still the case?

I believe so, which is why my manuscripts are written double-spaced... which also helps when marking them up.Industry standard for submissions, isn't it?
I went double - Industry standard for submissions, isn't it?
Out of interest: @Mouse @Dan Jones did you get an acknowledgement of entry?
No, didn't get confirmation. I think I'll re-submit.Yes got a confirmation immediately. Did you?
And yes, double spaced is standard. (Although I had to use single space on my synopsis to squeeze it onto one page)
