Many ask why this isn't in the Writing Challenge Forum. It is because it is an unofficial challenge, started by a few members for fun. It has 'rules', but it is informal, based on the decision of the participants and not the mods. The current evolution to include more than one entry is an example of that.
The Workshop Forum is the place for these fun challenges and exercises, so it remains here.

I was delighted that my single vote came from our Hugo award nominee @Victoria Silverwolf . That honour is worth two to me

Also interesting that mine was (by @Elckerlyc ) attributed to @sule whose was the story I liked best and voted for!
My first anonymous entry and a different dynamic which I enjoyed.

Well what can I say?

My first win in any of the challenges, albeit with only 3 votes.
Thanks to @chrispenycate @Elckerlyc @BT Jones for those votes

I nearly didn't bother entering another story, but the last line came to me on a Friday night, so a bit of research on Saturday to find out that one horse year is equivalent to about three human years; find out some famous horses; find out how long ago they were around; multiply by three and find out what was going on the world back then; a bit of spit and polish and post the entry on Sunday. Probably the quickest turnaround I've ever done.

PS My other entry Let's Do The Time Warp Equine was imagining a horse doing the Time Warp dance from the Rocky Horror Show. I realise that if someone has not seen the show then that entry would make no sense.
