I think I qualify as something of a Chaotic or Neutral Plantser, which is interesting since my alignment is chaotic neutral/good in general.

Most things start with an outline but once I start writing, my characters almost inevitably write their own stories and I just have to go with it and see if I can keep them at least close to my original idea.

I'm almost ashamed to admit that I'm on the lawful side. I wrote a database to handle characters and stuff. I blame my engineering background for that. My Dad used to say 'measure twice and cut once', which can be adapted to just about anything, including writing. I would like to state that I don't care about socks and I don't look in the tissue after blowing my nose.
