Stupidest line in a scifi TV series episode

This partly takes this a bit off topic but in the film 2012 there is line just boggles my mind when I hear it

"The neutrinos coming from the Sun Have Mutated "
This is deeply worrying. Are they infectious? Are we subject to methicillin-resistant neutrinos?

Spock's line from "The Immunity Syndrome" - "Brace yourself. The area of penetration will no doubt be sensitive".

And from film, in RotK, when Aragon painstakingly and at length, explains how they're going to create a diversion to distract Sauron, Legolas listens carefully, then helpfully comes out with the comment "A diversion!" You can almost see the lightbulb...

It was filmed after Clarke had passed on!

I think that "Somehow... Palpatine returned" has to be right up there.

So much better than having to come up with a rational reason for his return.

Useful for anyone wanting to revive a movie franchise that has come to its conclusion.

"Somehow... Sauron returned."

"Somehow... Smaug returned."

"Somehow... Hans Gruber returned."

Etc etc

Then there the much re-used Star Wars line " Ive got a bad feeling about this" :)
