M*A*S*H*, Frasier, and All in the Family, but it was difficult because they were too long. Meanwhile, for some reason it was easier for shows like the original Twilight Zone as well as WKRP.
Shows like Sapphire and Steel were easier because they're shorter, and even better mini series like Shogun and Roots. But even though they're short, shows like Dekalog require pauses.
Several are also doable, like Doom Watch, because many episodes are missing.
Finally, the most interesting for me is Dark Shadows from the 1960s, because of the bewildering mining from all sorts of Gothic stories. The catch is that it's a soap, which meant story arcs that could be told in only an hour or so would be stretched across dozens of episodes.
