Do you find yourselves having more books to read than you can catch up with?

There's a word for everything.

I wonder what the word for buying more books than you read is? :unsure:
 
Not enough time, I have lists, actual books old and new, and books I haven't heard of yet.
 
Having more books than time to read them all isn't the problem. It is the risk the TBR pile will topple just when I'm reading the titles at the bottom.
Imagine the headlines:
Reader Killed By Unread Books.
Was It An Accident?​
 
Definitely, and the list consists of works from different subjects and centuries.
