Discussion Thread - July 2022 75 Word Writing Challenge

too quick on the draw
I dunno, sometimes that's good -plus I didn't pick up on the stirrup thing so am not including it in the voting deliberations anyways. Tis hard to know sometimes, there's a high standard of reading on here but in general I think people miss that stuff. I know I do anyway ...and there's worse readers than me;)

Yeah I debated whether to point it out or not.

@Iwroteathing .... CONVERSATIONS OVERHEARD AT THE NECROMANCER GUILD BAR AFTERHOURS, no. 211 .... Left me with the question: "Why would two people play the same game when nobody wins.

I didn't notice at first. In my brain I pictured spurs. Bringing stirrups into the bar would at least deter horse thieves.

They’d have to be some pretty blingy stirrups to make that kind of racket.

@nixie .... City Vacation .... Left me with the question; "What other sights were seen?"

@Daysman .... Order for Mr Palmer .... Left me with the question: "Who's counting the time?"

Some quality entries already. I had already seen what I thought an almost certain shoe horn for my vote, but now there are two outstanding offerings vying for it already. Enough with the quality peeps - my effort (ready to go but still gestation a title) is starting to look like silly fluff!

@Peter V .... I’m Marrying a Monster From Outer Space .... Left me with the question; "Did anyone tell the truth in the pre-marital counseling?"

@Aknot .... A Memento .... Left me with the question, "How do you value something of nonsubstance?"

@Christine Wheelwright .... Outside? .... Left me with the question: "Who gets to decide which perspective is correct?"

--- I loved the philosophical underpinnings of this story. Well done.

I surprised myself this month, with an entry that's a good deal more serious than I had originally planned. Current events have been playing on my mind and the theme this month resonated with me. Well... anyway, I'm off to recover and I promise the old mob handed Bowler1 will return.

I've been word blind and missed an "a" - oh dear.

Well, there's always next month.

So to vent my frustration I've brought my pitchfork with me, and be warned I might be more tetchy than normal this month, which should rightly worry everyone - as Bowler1 files the pointy end of his pitchfork to make it even more pointy.
