Yes, it's an article written by one guy who references only his own three papers. He doesn't even have a PhD, let alone work at a university of note. He published a wacko book in 1991 saying the big bang didn't happen and has probably been grasping at any support since. The physics community doesn't take him seriously, it seems.
I said the exact same thing to Damien Walter on facebook and he had a meltdown, accused me of slinging Ad Hominems and then called me a bunch of names.
Sabine Hossenfelder was waxing lyrical on twitter about this. She blames cosmologists for giving the wrong impression by using the phrase "big bang" - a term that was applied mockingly by its originator.
Can we please agree what we mean by “Big Bang”?
