War of the Worlds 2022

Part 1 and 2 are recorded. Part 3 tomorrow with script corrections and then off to you good sir!
Sorry for the delay, covid took my voice out for a few days. When all is done, I'll email it to you in two parts or so.
You know, when I rehearse it, it sounds good! but when I record it, cheese villi! There are some hiccups in the recording, but I'm not going to worry too much. :)

Class, recording fell through here last night but gonna try get onto it this weekend. I'm sure the sound is perfect -I reckon writers/ actors are their own worst enemies for criticism ...there was one lad on a writing course I did who narrated his stuff perfectly and then apologized for it not being perfect. We can mix in effects anyways as the idea is it's amateur footage (sort of a documentary style thing).
Fair play

It is the year 2022, human beings are watching their social media ...meanwhile Martians are preparing the route of humanity -and the comedian John Colleary is onboard (y)

3ed part is recorded and I'll clean it up a little. I will also make corrections to the script and send it your way!(y)
Fair play, gonna try get the bulk of it done this week -great to get John onboard, he's flat out touring at the moment and I thought he wouldn't have time for messing but true to form he said no prob.
You're setting the bar with your work rate, looking forward to hearing it.

Thanks! Some of it sounds a little digital, but that's from the software.

Soundtrack is sorted, it's coming courtesy of an Irish musician named Martin Murphy, who has swapped reels for SF style synth mashing (y)

Getting there ...slowly. Mixing in ten minute daily bursts in the wee hours. Plan is to do a full credit video closer to the mark and properly thank all the authors and actors -which are one and the same for some (@THX1138 ;)

Done at last. Thanks to half a jar of coffee, and half a night's sleep. Bit of a learning curve -in future the way to do it would be to have a virtual online studio where the contributing artists can log in when they are free and make updates, sorta like software development.
Couldn't get enough Dutch folk to do your script justice @Elckerlyc , which is what has me thinking of an online studio. Also the main Martian actor went on a solo run with the script. It was class but torture to cut down to something that could slot into the story.
I ended up having to cut back a good bit of your work @THX1138 , which was a pain but needed it to fit sound wise with the rest of the show (went with the gas station scene as it was pure class). There is room to use the full thing again in another setting as it was very good -and seriously impressive to jump in and play all the parts. Anyhows, will do a full credit page and video tomorrow ...with the grand launch on tomorrow eve (y)
