@VRlass I don't think so. When the voting has ended you can. Otherwise, it's all left up to the readers interpretation of the story, I believe.

Sometimes it's interesting to see other people's interpretations of our stories.

I do think that some entries greatly benefit from a bit of background information, but those are the rules, and part of the Challenge is to make it understandable without the need for an explanation.

Despite it being a great theme for this month, I have been stumped for any ideas for a story. Then I sat at my keyboard and started to type until something came out.

I find that I can't even begin to start thinking about something for the 300 worder before getting my 75 entry out; one idea floating around my head at one time is about as much as I can manage!

You're not the only one. I had to go with my fallback plan. Quickly knock up a Dark Lord just so I got an entry in.

I've posted my story. And I've got to say that it's more autobiographical than I would like. Some of you might find something else in it as well.

--------------

@Luiglin .... Another one bites the dust .... Luiglin treats us to another adventure of the Dark Lord; is it the last?

@paranoid marvin .... At The End of the Race .... P. M. reminds us that every thing has an ending, and likely not a noble one.

@Bren G .... (Going) All Out .... B. G. helps us make the connection between a promise and too much to promise.
