I think the Doctor/Donna duo was the best new-Who team, but there is something overtly American about the upcoming specials. It feels unsettling to me. Similar to Paul McCann’s Doctor. He was perfect but everything else didn’t work.

I think I agree about the new look. They have something vaguely neon[ish] about them.
Or maybe that is just the trailers.
They may have been made for the American market and we are just getting them by default.
I'd be happy with a logo, soundtrack and a broadcast date. I don't need to see the show early.
Also, it doesn't sound too good that there were reshoots around Cardiff in the last week or so.
