Recycling animated characters and storylines., good for the environment, not so good for the captive Saturday morning audiences . I Wacheed Saturday morning fare from 70 to the mid 80's with a few notable exceptions got steadily .

You may recall The Battle of the Network Stars.... maybe the most self-promoting, self-congratulating, and self-indulgent American cultural crap I've had to live through.
There was another show they did in 1977-maybe it came first--which was international in theme. So it was an American team vs a UK team (Jane Seymour was one of their "athletes"). I can just imagine the humility on display in that one.

The Incredible Hulk tv series The Pilot when David Banner first change into the Hulk whale change a tire on his car .

I don't remember watching much TV during the 70s. I may have done, but I just don't remember much about it. I did become addicted to The Rockford Files, but that was later, in the early 80s, when it was in syndicated reruns. It gave me something to look forward to in the afternoons.

Now when I catch an episode it makes me uncomfortable because of the clothes. I think how hot and sweaty everyone must have felt wearing all that polyester in the Southern California heat.

And all that makeup!. some 1970s TV Makeup looks like it was applied with a trowel.
