The newer Lost in Space tv seires.

It's very slick. I watched the first (or may be two) episodes. I had a problem with the pat-ness of the solutions. It also felt a bit pandering, can't tell you exactly how. I might continue, but something turned me off to it despite the glossy production.

Going old school,. but hjave you considered watching Babylon 5? Personally, it's myfavourite Science Fiction experience.

I just took delivery of the Blu-Ray release and a rewatch beckons.

Now I feel old Babylon 5 Old school?

Stick with it through the first season which is a bit shonky at times, the show really gets into its stride in season 2 - but you need to know stuff from season one first so don't skip it. It's a great show.

re: Babylon 5 - It wasn't made up as they went along by a "committee" of writers, but instead there was an overall plan, which amazingly was given enough time by the studio, without being cancelled, to realise the fruition of that whole story.

I'm envious of you for getting to see this for the first time, so please let us know how you get on. The first series can be difficult, but stick with it as there are a lot of importane episodes that affect later seasons.

I'm going to reqatch it over the Christas period.

Takes huge shoes to fill SG1/SGA & SGU.. Yes I also love SGU also.

Dark Matter is ok.... but..
Battlestar Galactica is awesome. *highly recommend
The Expanse is even better and newer (like a new Stargate series kinda *highly recommend)
Altered Carbon isnt like SG but is awesome
