Doctor Who; The Giggle ( 60th Anniversary Special 3)

Sorry, I misphrased that - I meant, wouldn't they share the same memories of all the previous regenerations, up to the moment they split?

Yes, I expect so. @K.S. Crooks said something about future doctors not having all the memories, so I assumed they were referring to the two new genetic lines of the Doctor which have sprung up not sharing all the same memories after that point. Of course it won’t really matter if one or the other dies without regenerating, and that might be the plan ultimately. But if so, that suggests to me that the producers might be cynically hedging their bets in case they find their new Doctor proves too controversial in the current political climate. Or am I the cynical one?

The best episode of the 3 specials for me. The Toymaker was an interesting villain played reasonably well. I didn't mind the Bi-Generation as something new, although the 15th doctor seemed a little too well established for someone just being born. It seemed that he was the one that should have been getting consoled by the 14th doctor. But pretty solid, and fun. Not sure about the ball game as being the clincher. A more cerebral game might have been a better bet.

Thought this was pretty good and loved the bigeneration - it's good to bring something new to the table. Of course, it also meant we get to give Tennant the send-off he deserves - a good fan-please IMO.

The only thing I didn't like was the Toymaker's fake German accent - IMO it just made the character seem more silly and less serious than should have been the case.
