Books that would be improved If Zombies Were Added .

Whilst not improved, I am curious about Lonesome Dove with zombies.

Gus is quite happy to admit that if punching someone in the face with a Navy colt doesn't stop them, shooting them rarely will - So zombies won't be a problem.

And Cal? Well, zombies are lazy, so straight off they are in trouble.

The Interpretation of Zombies

The beardy lad develops a technique to interpret zombies, and argues that every zombie shows itself to be a senseless structure engaged in an unconscious search for the lumpy bits inside the head of live humans.

I'm not sure who exactly is going to be in trouble. But in keeping with the traditions of this fine thread, this book should probably be renamed as Lonesome Zombie.

There is actually a War of the World book with Zombies .:)

Come to think of it, the Lonesome Dove characters could seriously change their minds about Comanches.
You see, zombies don't care who they eat. They don't care about a person's race, nation, gender or sexual orientation. All humans are equally delicious.
So the protagonists of Lonesome Dove - oh, sorry, Lonesome Zombie - would have to work with the Comanches to band together and fight the zombies. So adding zombies to a book not only makes it a lot more interesting, it can also teach a good moral lesson.
