I wonder if the TVs have auto-updated their firmware?
It might explain why it wasn’t working before but is now.

That's what I was thinking. The TV updating before it becomes fully operational.

Aha! Probably what it was, yes.
I should maybe have just left them switched on and connected to my WiFi for a few hours instead of panicking and trying different things .
All hunky dory now anyways
